About ARTworks The Arts Council of Beaufort, Port Royal & the Sea Islands Beaufort Road Rally for the Arts "The most fun you've ever had driving a car and not knowing where the heck you are going!" The Details A benefit for ARTworks on October 9th, check-in is at 3:00 sharp at ARTworks! The starting line is ARTworks in Beaufort Town Center, and it's your job to find the finish line per the rally directions. The cost is $20 per person and there will be two divisions - Roadsters (2 people per car) and Wagons (more than 2 per car.). There will be 3 legs in the rally with checkpoints dividing each leg and the idea is to navigate each leg in a predetermined amount of time. This is not a race; you will be penalized for going too fast (or too slow!). Your times, mileage, and various other scoring categories will be totaled at the finish line, where a party awaits for all who Rally for the Arts - including trophies for the winners, food, drinks (including a cash "donation" bar w/ beer and wine), music, some nice prizes to be raffled off and, of course, some great stories.
