July 2006 Tuesday the 4th Mermaid appearance at the Sands in Port Royal, along with fireworks and other festivities sponsored by the Chamber and the Port Royal Old Village Association. Thursday the 27th Mermaid Design Review Committee August 2006 Saturday the 19th 2nd Mermaid Workshop for official and interested artists. September 2006 Indira the Interactive Mermaid settles in, under the clock on Bay St. October 2006-- the first wave of Mermaids hit the streets in a two weekend extravaganza Shrimp Festival in Downtown Beaufort, 13th-14th Triton and Narissa will be on stage on Saturday at 3pm, emceeing various fun and shrimpy events. Saturday the 21st It's Oktoberfest in Port Royal, and the mermaids will be there. Saturday the 28th Grand Unveiling of the Mermaids, in conjunction with Art Walk and the Tour of Homes by the Historic Beaufort Foundation. November 2006 enjoy the mermaids, as more appear in Beaufort County December 2006 Charles Street Gallery Annual Invitational: Mermaids, Salt and Depth January 2007 through August 2007 enjoy the mermaids, the walking tour, the scavenger hunt. September 2007 enjoy the mermaids for only a little while longer... October 2007 Shrimp Festival Saturday, October 13th The Arts Council of Beaufort County presents Chalk on the Walk at Beaufort Town Center. Say farewell to 31 mermaids at this European style street festival.
