Who is an emerging artist? a plumber who wants to
be an actor • an administrative assistant who wants
to be a painter • a landscaper who wants to be an
arts administrator • a policeman who wants to be
an artist-in-residence • a teacher who wants to be
an illustrator • a student who is learning an artform.
Choose your path ~ FREE workshops for Visual Artists, Literary Artists, and those who wish to become
Teaching Artists and apply for the SC approved Artist Roster
The first set of workshops begin February 2 and go through May, 2008.....

Grant & Other Opportunities
ART Magazine
accepting submissions for the first photography contest, with images centered around
the theme of the environment
All entries will be judged by members of the Charleston Center for Photography and ART Magazine
The top three winning photographs will be published in the Spring 08 Issue of ART Magazine, due out late April
The rules:
- Each individual is allowed to submit up to 3 images.
- All photographs must be at least 300 dpi (dots per inch).
- Be sure to include your name, email, phone number, and mailing address.
- You can either email images up to 10 MB to info@charlestonartmag.com, or you may mail a CD of images to Photography Contest, Renaissance Media/ART Magazine, PO Box 13115, Charleston, SC 29422.
- We are not responsible for returning images so please do not mail your only copy!
- All submissions are due by March 25, 2008.
